Pengaruh Living Qur’an Terhadap Proses Pemerolehan Bahasa Kedua (Bahasa Arab) Pada Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Living Quran as a method that influences the process of second language acquisition in early childhood. This research is a case study research that occurred at the Tahfidhul Quran Al-hikmah Purwoasri Islamic boarding school, which aims to prove that the concept really has an influence on the process of second language acquisition. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that children acquired new vocabulary and unconsciously remembered closely about the form of Arabic sentences that were in accordance with Arabic language rules through the verses of the Quran that were often heard, read, and a small part was memorized. In addition to sentence patterns, the process of second language acquisition also goes through the instillation of moral values ​​contained in the verses of the Quran about everyday life that are often heard by children. Unconsciously, in these activities, language transfer and language acquisition have occurred in children of early age. Of course, the application of the living Qur'an method has an impact on the process of acquiring a second language in early childhood.
